Umbrella Chem Marble, Stone and Granite Adhesive (Marble Adhesive)

1. Product Description and General Features Umbrella Chem Marble, Stone and Granite Adhesive is a two-component (resin and hardener tube), polyester-based, high-strength vertical and horizontal surface bonding, filling and repair chemical. It has been formulated to react quickly and exhibit excellent adhesion performance in the installation of marble, granite, travertine and all kinds of natural stones. It does not crack, shrink (shrinkage), or flake off after curing; it offers strength that integrates with the stone's natural structure. 2. Applications and Usage Areas Installation and Repair of Natural Stone: In the bonding of marble, granite, travertine, ceramic, tile, brick and artificial stone with horizontal and vertical strength. Step and Handrail Installation: For structural fixing of marble steps, sills, skirting boards, and handrails in interior and exterior spaces. Filling and Pore Closure: Aesthetically filling of fractures, cracks, holes and snag gaps occurring on natural stone surfaces and surface corrections before sanding. Industrial Production: In cutting, joining, and insert casting processes in marble and granite workshops.

Specifications

**Featured Technical Advantages** Fast Curing (Fast Freezing): After being mixed with a hardener (peroxide), it gels in a very short time (within an average of 5-10 minutes at room temperature) and becomes ready for mechanical processing. Perfect Upright Standing (Thixotropic Structure): It does not flow, sag or slip in applications on vertical surfaces. Easy Processing and Polishing: After drying completely, it reacts with the same character as the stone; it can be sanded, shaved and polished with marble polish. Chemical and Thermal Resistance: After curing, it exhibits high resistance to water, alkalis, dilute acid solutions, and weather conditions. 4. Process and Implementation Methodology Surface Preparation: The surfaces to be glued or filled should be completely dry, absolutely free from dust, oil, moisture, loose parts and dirt. Mixing Ratio: Take as much of the base resin (paste) as you need using a spatula. Add 2% to 3% tube hardener (peroxide) to it. (Example: Approximately the size of a chickpea for 100 g of paste, as a hardener). Homogenization: The resin and hardener should be quickly mixed with a spatula until the color becomes completely homogeneous. The hardener ratio can be adjusted according to ambient temperature; it can be used in smaller amounts at higher temperatures and slightly more at lower temperatures. Application: The prepared mixture should be applied to the surface without delay (within 5 minutes) and the parts should be pressed together to secure them. Once the mixture begins to gel, it must not be moved under any circumstances. 5. Critical Parameters and Points to Consider Time Management: The reaction starts quickly from the moment the mixture is prepared. Therefore, only the amount of mixture to be applied should be prepared. The spatula coated with hardener must never be inserted into the box; otherwise, the entire product inside the box will freeze. Temperature Effect: At temperatures below +5°C, the reaction rate slows down significantly. Operating at a constant room temperature ensures optimum drying time. Occupational Safety: During application, protective gloves and goggles must be used, and the environment must be well-ventilated. Eye or skin contact should be avoided; in case of contact, wash thoroughly with plenty of water.
